Yoshinori Nishi Highlight: Tough Old Dog

Yoshinori Nishi is one of those names who floats around early JMMA, he was a Kudo Practitioner a Judoka and ran the Wajyutsu Keshukai school, teaching such names as Akira Shoji, Caol Uno, Kazunari Murakami and Daiju Takase. The issue was he was already 40 by the time mma became a thing but he did fairly well, having a few shoots in RINGS and winning the first Lumax cup event before getting matched up against Rickson at VTJ 1994. He also showed up at full contact Karate tournaments, kickboxing and shootboxing events.
