Almas Altay is a dombra musician who lives in Astana. He wanted to celebrate the Kazakh medals in the London Olympics in 2012 by gathering a few people and throwing a dombra party. The event continued and became so popular it was voted the most popular event in a TV show, and the Facebook page today has more than 23,000 followers
