CAC BOOMERANG

The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Boomerang was the Australian emergency fighter developed in an incredibly short space of time. CAC were already producing the Wirraway although the Boomerang was in many ways a new design. It found it’s niche in New Guinea with 4 and later 5 Squadron in the Army Cooperation role.
