One of a series of black & white educational films distributed by “Films of the Nations“, “Scottish Rhapsody“ presents the country of Scotland. This is circa 1953, and directed by Austen West, and produced by Maurice Groen.
Titles: Films of the Nations presents Scottish Rhapsody (:06-:44). Edinburgh, Scotland. Edinburgh is Scotland’s compact, hilly capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Looming over the city is Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny.
