This video shows some ways you can modify the output of the Korg Monotron and make it a much more versatile musical instrument. Focus is on its (im my opinion most interesting) use as a proper melody instrument, but I also talk a little about percussive sounds etc.
Most things I say here don’t apply exclusively to the Monotron, but can be transferred to pretty much any other not frequency-quantized synth, or even to completely different instruments.
