Update: Since making this video, I’ve made some corrections to the Proto-Indo-European. The first is that I’ve decided that the first laryngeal (H1) should be a glottal stop, [Ɂ], rather than an [h]. The first line should therefore be not “Ḱi hesmi,“ but “Ḱi ɂesmi. Second, I learned that u-stems move their accents to the right in all cases other than nominative and accusative.
