Magma57 (Origin Effects)

Origin Effects always has my complete attention when they release something new. This time around, they are paying homage to the amazing Magnatone series of amps which featured a distinctive vibrato effect. Using the three position 0-180 switch, you can achieve everything from univibe to chorus, and mix of the two effects for something really unique. Although the modulation is an amazing feature and probably the main headline when it comes to this product, in this demo I want to spend the first couple minutes just showing you how amazing and amp-like the drive is. Then we will switch on the modulation and go from there using the highly interactive Tone knob to dial in more sparkle or lush low end. I’m playing my Nash T63 telecaster with stringjoy strings, lollar pickups and Emerson wiring into my Benson Tall Bird and Earhart, and it’s all mic’d the the iZotope Spire Studio. Hope you enjoy!
