Moorish Mosaic - Soap Challenge November - Complete Version - Inclusive 4 Different Swirl Techniques

“Moorish Mosaic“ This is my entry of the November soap challenge. This time we had to make a soap design, using mosaic pieces of soap. The design had to be made on the basis of an inspiration photo. My inspiration was influenced by the Moroccan tile. I have often been on holiday in the south of Spain, close to the African continent. The culture of southern Spain has many influences from the Moors, and you will see a lot of small mosaic tiles. To make the mosaic pieces I made 4 new soap loaves, each with its own design and color combination. In the video you can see which techniques I used and how I made my mosaic soap. Regarding this month’s technique: AMAZING !! A big thank you to our guest teacher for this month, Leila Hazou of The Mad Soaper and our sponsor Leyla Van Melle of Soap Fanatics. Leila has a love for stained glass, and decided to translate that love into her other passion: cold process soap! Well, you made me addictive lol and I will certainly use this technique
