Floral Cocktail - Hybrid Soap Technique Cold Process +Melt & Pour

A technique combines two soap making processes, cold process and melt & pour. I have chosen my favorite triple butter recipe for the cold process layer and used my homemade transparent soap base for the coloured layer and the top glassy layer. This soap is my submission for the June 2021 soap challenge club by Amy Warden and this technique is taught by guest teacher Sharon Czekala of Great Lakes Natural Soap Co. Stained glass paintings used to be an obsession during my college days when there was no internet to easily find inspiration. I remember hunting for coloring books and designs in magazines in our library and secretly tracing them out. I tried out 5 different floral and colourful patterns for this challenge but this one with its wavy bright flowers won my heart! I will be sharing the process of making the others shortly.
