Karajan Wagner Rehearsal: Tristan und Isolde & Tannhauser

Dress rehearsal footage of the Great Conductor Herbert von Karajan in Japan 1973, with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The first part has him putting the final touches to the Tristan und Isolde Prelude to Act 1 and Liebestod. The second part is very interesting, with even a very noticeable mistake at the end of the Tannhauser Overture. :)
