Toyoda Gosei Flesby Concept : 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

That’s not a typo in the title: this little fluorescent green concept dubbed the Flesby is the creation of Japanese parts manufacturer Toyoda Gosei. The manufacturer – which is part of the Toyota empire – describes the Flesby as a design concept for “a small mobile unit envisioned for about 2030”. Unique to the Flesby is its padded, wetsuit-style skin that contains external airbags that inflate to protect pedestrians in a crash. It also uses LEDs embedded in its green skin to communicate safety information to people nearby in the event of an emergency.
