Regal Creatures: Ceramic Design Tutorial

In this video I demonstrate clay hand-building sculpture techniques, such as slab-building, pressed pattern design, joining and acrylic decorating. This project is suitable for senior primary/elementary, middle and senior years high school students. Workbook: ‘Regal Creatures’ is a complete course book on how to plan, design and create these royal ceramic figurines. The main project tutorial is divided into sections and comprehensively explained, with a photo and written description of every step in the making process. This equates to 13 pages of detailed instruction. As well as the main project tutorial, the course book also includes a range of drawing inquiry and planning worksheets aimed at inspiring and informing student’s creative exploration and making processes.
