Norbert Rodenkirchen´s Medieval flute meditation: “Virgo plorans“ (the virgin in tears) is the name of a medieval sequela (a textless tune belonging to a poem in sequence form) attributed to Notker the stammerer, a monk in 9th century St Gall.
