Gazprom-RusVelo: Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2021

In 2021 Gazprom-RusVelo made its debut at the prestigious and one of the oldest cycling races in the world Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. Even though the team leader Ilnur Zakarin was not able to continue competing in the race after the third stage due to the hip injury, his teammate Dmitry Strakhov managed to clinch a podium by winning a special intermediate sprint reward which was dedicated to the anniversary 100th edition of the race.
