Virginia protests spark off as police take direct approach Virginia State Police sprayed tear gas from their barricade of riot police which moved in on the protestors’ encampment, arresting several pro-Palestine protesters. Law enforcement claim the protests hit a “turning point” on Friday evening after the school refused to comply with all of the protesters’ demands, the protesters turned their demonstration into an encampment. While students protested in support of Palestinians, Governor Glenn Youngkin tweeted images from his visit last week to Dachau concentration camp in Germany to mark Jewish Heritage Month.
