Meet M142 HIMARS : The Badass High Mobility Artillery Rocket System

The M142 High Mobility artillery Rocket System or HIMARS is a multiple rocket launcher system mounted to a 6 x 6 FMTV truck chassis. HIMARS was developed by lockheed Martin Missile under an Advanced concept technology demonstration program in 1996. The purpose of HIMARS is to engage and defeat artillery, air defense concentrations, trucks, light armor and personnel carriers, as well as suppor troop and supply concentrations. It is designed to launch Rockets and tactical ballistic missile.
