These passages are transcribed for oboe ensemble and have a double aspect since not only is the possibility of being able to perform them in concert contemplated, but they can also be used as a pedagogical tool within the subject of Orchestral Repertoire for Oboe at Music College. These transcriptions have been used by the author at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón (in addition to other centers where he is invited) and provide students with a more global vision, giving them a certain degree of autonomy in their musical criteria thanks to the knowledge of what is happening around the execution of an orchestral passage (rhythm, harmony, tuning, articulation, dynamic balance, sonority, interpretation, style, etc.). All this allows working on interpretation together, learning the roles within the section and printing a certain flexibi- lity to adapt the interpretative form of the ensemble as well as acquiring a certain experience in the handling of instruments belonging to the same family as the oboe and that are used in a certain repertoire such as the oboe d’amore and the English horn. The instrumentation was originally intended for 3 oboes, oboe d’amore, and English horn, but two alternative parts have been added (English horn instead of oboe d’amore and bassoon instead of English horn) to make it more accessible. These are the different combinations: • 3 oboes, oboe d’amore, and English horn • 3 oboes and 2 English horns • 3 oboes, oboe d’amore, and bassoon • 3 oboes, English horn, and bassoon Follow me on social networks: Instagram: Facebook: Support me: SUPPORT OUR WORK: Paypal: for your support¤cy_code=EUR
