Shavit-2 launches Ofek-16 (Horizon-16)

A Shavit-2 launch vehicle launched the Ofek-16 satellite from the Palmachim Airbase, Israel, on 6 July 2020, at 01:00 UTC (04:00 local time). Ofek 16 (אופק 16, Horizon-16) is an “electro-optical observation satellite with advanced capabilities” launched for the Ministry of Defence of Israel.
