Non Nobis, Domine from Henry V | Glory! Music of Rejoicing

In Shakespeare’s Henry V, the king announces after the victory at Agincourt, “Let there be sung Non nobis and Te Deum.” For Kenneth Branagh’s 1989 movie adaptation of the play, Scottish composer Patrick Doyle wrote (and sang) a new setting of the Non nobis, a medieval prayer derived from Psalm 115:1 Lyrics: LATIN Non Nobis, Domine, Sed nomine tuo da gloriam
