Melancholy Bach - Bach Keyboard Music

Meditation Music with Photo Theme [The Luminous Landscape] Bach Music resonated with me in my college years. His music is often generally described as mathematical and restrained as most music of the Baroque era was, but nothing else in music has touched me as profoundly as Bach’s secular music. I own 32 renditions of his collection of Sonatas and Partitas for Solo violin, nearly half as many of his Keyboard and violins concertos, Brandenburg concertos, and orchestral suites. If I were to be sent off into space indefinitely and were allowed only one token of human heritage to take with me to keep my company and to share with whatever intelligence I would find out there, it would be some of his music. Other than some Persian Classical music to which I am also extremely partial, Bach music has brought me peace, melancholy, and joy.
