#10 Sashiko Inspired Embroidery

Hi everyone, this is the tenth piece in my Sashiko Inspired Embroidery Project this year. This one was inspired by an image I spotted on Pinterest last year which I thought would be fun to work completely in French Knots. As much as I adore working French Knots you’ve really got to love them for this . It’s most definitely a study in French Knots and an embroidery piece that doesn’t come together quickly. As usual for this Project, I worked in a single strand of DMC thread/floss and for this one, I chose to work completely in white ( Blanc DMC) and resist the urge to add that ‘pop’ of colour.
