At the 2021 European Youth Championships in Varazdin (CRO), Annett Kaufmann and Lleyton Ullmann reached the semifinals (SF) of the cadet mixed doubles (CXD) event. There, they met the Polish duo Wiktoria Wrobel/Milosz Redzimski. As there is no third place playoff, both duos had already secured their place at the medal rostrum. Still, Milosz Redzimski played exceptionally good and the Polish duo eventually was victorious in the final as well so this defeat is nothing to be ashamed of.
