**Gulab Jamun Recipe** 🍯
Ingredients:
**For the Jamun dough:**
- 1 cup khoya (mawa) 🧀
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (maida) 🌾
- 1/4 tsp baking soda 🥄
- 2 tbsp milk 🥛
- Ghee or oil for frying 🍳
**For the sugar syrup:**
- 2 cups sugar 🍬
- 1 1/2 cups water 💧
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 🍃
- 1 tsp rose water 🌹
- Few saffron strands (optional) 🌾
- 1 tsp lemon juice 🍋
Steps:
1️⃣ **Prepare the sugar syrup**:
- In a saucepan, add 2 cups of sugar and 1 1/2 cups of water. Bring it to a boil until the sugar dissolves completely. 🍲 #SyrupMaking
- Add cardamom powder, rose water, saffron, and a squeeze of lemon juice (to prevent crystallization). Simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat and set aside. 🍋 #SweetSyrup #FragrantDelight
2️⃣ **Make the dough**:
- In a large bowl, crumble 1 cup of khoya. 🧀
