Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake in Ecuador April 16, 2016 Compilation

Compilation of the Magnitude 7.8 that struck Ecuador on April 16, 2016, causing widespread damage in Manabi Province, and collapsing buildings hundreds of kilometers away from the epicenter, killing at least 676 people and injuring more than 16,600. The earthquake struck the coast of Ecuador approximately 27 km (17 mi) south-southeast of Muisne, in the province of Esmeraldas, at a depth of 20.6 km (12.8 mi) with a maximum Mercalli intensity of VIII (Severe).
