The Bulu Red Petrochromis is a rare cichlid from lake Tanganyika. As of 2016 it is no longer imported into the United States in part because of the difficulty of collecting this fish in the wild. U.S. breeders are trying to answer the need from hobbyists -- but they are selling all they can produce.
