Crater Lake - Stabilized Sky Timelapse - Visualization of Earth’s Rotation - 4K

A stabilized sky timelapse featuring the Milky Way over Crater Lake. The purpose of this video is to help us visualize the Earth’s rotation. It’s something we know is happening, but is not something we directly perceive. The water was very calm that night, which created a nice mirror for the stars. I also finally got to use my astro-modified camera, which provided more vibrancy and color in the nebulae of the Milky Way core. Footage captured at Crater Lake National Park on July 19, 2020.
