The Curvature of the Earth - Bonneville Salt Flats (from West Wendover)

Taken from a viewpoint just West of Wendover on the Nevada side. Looking down the length of Highway 80 that crosses the Salt Flats. The highway is LEVEL for 40 miles, and what you’re seeing here is the wrapping effect due to the curvature of the earth. Viewpoint location: ,
