Thailand 1966 improved rice cultivation

Thai famers have a hard life and are heavily taxed by the government. Many lost possession of their land and had to lease it. This clip shows a community on the Menam river increasing their crop by planting twice instead of once a year. For that irrigation systems had to be introduced although their buffaloes perform better in muddy fields. In a second clip the ceremonies will be shown in which the king took part.
