Art Neilson & Reggie Crusher Lisowski vs The Mighty Atlas & Billy Goelz 1950’s wrestling

Here’s a great tag match with Art Neilson and Reggie “The Crusher“ Lisowski taking on The Mighty Atlas (Morris Shapiro) and Billy Goelz. This is the second and third falls of a 2/3 falls match. The Crusher would soon go on to become AWA Champion and form one of the most hated and then most popular tag teams with Dick the Bruiser. Art was also part of another successful “brother“ team as he partnered with Stan Neilson (Stan also wrestled as Stan Lisowski, Reggie’s “brother“). The Mighty Atlas (Morris Shapiro) was famed for his strongman stunts and wrestled and managed mostly as a heel. Billy Goelz is one of the best wrestlers of the 50’s and it’s a shame he’s not more widly known. The match is from Fred Kohler’s Chicago territory.
