Deadly paragliding collision accident

A paraglider pilot has died after colliding with another aircraft in the mountains of Cabardino-Balcaria. The last moments of his life were captured on video by his passenger. The accident happened on the afternoon of September 13 near Chegem. The footage shows the woman driving the paraglider touching the dome of the parachute flying towards her. Experts say that she had all the possibilities and had to go to the right, but from the fright only screamed. Tandem collapsed to the ground, pilot Pavel Trofimov suffered serious injuries and, despite the efforts of medics, died in an ambulance from cardiac arrest. His passenger broke his arm and suffered numerous abrasions.
