Left-wing coalition wins French parliamentary elections

Violence has flooded the streets of Paris following the victory of a leftist coalition in the French parliamentary elections. The New Popular Front finished ahead of both President Macron’s centrist coalition and the right-wing National Rally. However, no party achieved a majority.
