Bisley Rifles (1914-1918)

Bisley Rifles, Surrey. Military. Parade coming down village or town street; w/ a rather ornate building; w/ cupolas; long balconies w/ arches BG; shot over heads of spectators. A sort of marching band - looks like a group of clarinets. Then non-musicians - both military and civilian - walk along carrying one man above them on a chair. Hero. Sharp shooting contest at firing range. Side view line of soldiers stretched out on the ground firing rifles as at target practice. Their instructors; or officers or whoever have chalkboards w/ charts drawn to keep score set up all along the line. Pan; CU soldier in kilt & helmet marks score on aboard; w/ heading Edinburgh Academy. Pan a bit to rt; more soldiers stand at scoreboards - these are larger scoreboards; seem to be standing behind the other line and getting the scores from them.
