Bisley Rifles, Surrey.
Military. Parade coming down village or town street; w/ a rather ornate building; w/ cupolas; long balconies w/ arches BG; shot over heads of spectators. A sort of marching band - looks like a group of clarinets. Then non-musicians - both military and civilian - walk along carrying one man above them on a chair. Hero.
Sharp shooting contest at firing range. Side view line of soldiers stretched out on the ground firing rifles as at target practice. Their instructors; or officers or whoever have chalkboards w/ charts drawn to keep score set up all along the line. Pan; CU soldier in kilt & helmet marks score on aboard; w/ heading Edinburgh Academy. Pan a bit to rt; more soldiers stand at scoreboards - these are larger scoreboards; seem to be standing behind the other line and getting the scores from them. Then another shot showing both soldiers lying on their stomachs firing guns and the other men sitting by scoreboards.
Weapons; guns.
