Herter makes speech to press (natural sound): “My working colleagues and I have foremost in mind the freedom of more than two million people of West Berlin . We were determined, and will remain determined, to make no arrangement with the Soviet Union that undermines that freedom. When the conference resumes, the Western Foreign ministers will be ready as before to negotiate in good faith that resolves as before that will stand firm on rights and principles“.
