VS of a convoy of allied merchant ships steaming through the English Channel with shells exploding in the sea around them, the shells are coming from large German guns on the French coast. VS of large French railway guns which is thought the Germans may be using. (Library shots). VS of destroyer escorts steaming at speed amongst the merchant ships laying a smoke screen to hide the ships from the German guns, and the German bomber which acts as the range finder for the guns.
