Oxfordshire. Title: “TRIAL OXFORD CREW commence active preparations for the Varsity Boat Race“. M/S of the Oxford University crew getting into a rowing eight moored at the edge of the River Thames, a heavy snow blizzard blows around them. The crew use their oars to push the boat away from the bank, they remove their sweaters and then row down stream. L/S of the crew rowing through the snow down the river. After a few seconds of white spacing, the story resumes at 01:34:12, looks like cuts / out takes. M/S of four men squatting and standing at the prow of a boat following the rowing eight up the Thames. Various panning shots follows the rowing eight as it travels down river.
