Dear music friends and fans, With this song Alexander Veljanov wanted to express the sadness of a much older man, a pain of unrequited love. Alexander was inspired by the character of King Philip in Schiller’s “Don Carlos“, at the time a very impressive play for him, and particularly fascinating as an opera by Giuseppe Verdi.
