Dear music friends and fans, “Reincarnation“ shows that we were also very much influenced by our theatre work from the start. Written during our second production, which was released years later as “1987“, this song made its way onto the “Dark Star“ album in 1991 and became one of our first scene hits. Over the years it has been performed in many different ways live on stage. Here Alexander was able to expressly act as a stage actor and interpret the nihilistic lyrics in a variety of ways. In terms of sound, also for Ernst and all musicians involved, this particular tune is always a playground at its best. This time around, however, in the quite purist classic piano version. Enjoy!
