Syria: Smoke billows above Yarmouk after SAA reportedly shells IS south of Damascus

Huge plumes of smoke could be seen billowing above the Damascus suburb of Yarmouk on Friday, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reportedly continued shelling the positions of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL). Earlier in the day, militants controlling areas in south Damascus have reportedly agreed to withdraw, following an offensive by government forces.
