To Make Salad Dressing
Eggless Mayonnaise - 3/4 Cup
Mustard Sauce - 1 Tsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Sugar - 1 1/2 Tsp
Juice Of 1 Lemon
To Make Coleslaw Sandwich
Cabbage - 1 Bowl of Thinly Shredded
Purple Cabbage - 1 Bowl of Thinly Shredded
Carrot - 1 No.
Onion - 1 No.
Green Capsicum - 1 No.
Red Capsicum - 1 No.
Salad Dressing
Brown Bread
Coleslaw
Method:
1. Take mayonnaise in a bowl.
2. Add mustard sauce, salt, pepper powder, sugar, lemon juice and mix everything well.
3. Check for seasoning, add salt if required and keep the dressing aside.
4. Take thin juliennes of regular cabbage, purple cabbage, carrot, onion, green capsicum, red capsicum in a large bowl.
5. Add the prepared salad dressing to the vegetables. Mix it all well. Keep it aside.
6. Take bread slices and cut off the edges.
7. Place spoonful of coleslaw sandwich on one of the slices and spread it out evenly.
8. Place another slice on the top and cut the sandwich into triangles.
9. That’s it, delicious Coleslaw sandwich is ready to be served cold or at room temperature.
Coleslaw is a mildly flavored, mayonnaise based vegetable salad. All the vegetables are cut into juliennes and a nice dressing is made with mayonnaise combined with a few other ingredients;all of this put together to make a wonderful salad. And with this one, I made a very simple sandwich. This Coleslaw sandwich is a cold sandwich- meaning you can refrigerate and have it as and when required.
