Juhani Nuorvala: Fanfare and Toccata

’Fanfare and Toccata’ for Viola da Gamba and Fokker (31-tone) Organ Mikko Perkola, viol & Ere Lievonen, keyboard (microtonal virtual organ) at the Helsinki MicoFest 2014, Sibelius Academy / Music Centre, March 29. The tuning system is 31 equal divisions of the octave. The introductory fanfare is in the so-called Orwell temperament. The toccata is in extended meantone.
