Almond cake with caramel apple
A fabulous dessert made with ingredients that you have in every home!
Caramel:
Sugar 110 gr
Butter 50 gr
Melt sugar on medium heat. Add soft butter and mix well.
Cut apples into thin slices. Place on the bottom of a mold (16 cm) for baking and drizzle with caramel.
Sponge cake:
Egg 2 pcs
Sugar 100 gr
Salt 3 gr
Melted butter 70 gr
Almond flour 110 gr
Wheat flour 50 gr
Baking powder 6 gr
Mix eggs with salt and sugar. Add melted butter and all dry ingredients.
Place in a mold over apples, add almond petals on top and bake in a preheated oven for about 35 minutes at 165C.
Serve with cream or vanilla ice cream.
Or ideally with mascarpone light cream:
mascarpone 150 gr
Powdered sugar 45 gr
Cream 33% 80 gr
Vanilla extract
Beat all ingredients together with a mixer.
