UK’s permanent representative to the United National, Barbara Woodward, has performed a spectacular U-turn on her position on the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank. Speaking at the Security Council, she condemned Israeli expansion of illegal settlement in the West Bank and termed the recent murders of Palestinians by Israel in schools appalling.
