Churchills Unlimited (1942)

Titles read: “CHURCHILLS UNLIMITED“. Somewhere in Britain. Various shots of a mass formation of Churchill tanks moving across fields during tests. Note: could be Salisbury Plain. Amendment Apri 2011: The date this footage was taken was 13 Aug 1942 and the location was Longslade Bottom and Wilverley Plain near Brockenhurst in the New Forest. The units involved were 43 RTR, 144 RAC & 148 RAC all part of the 33rd Army Tank Brigade attached to the 3rd Infantry Division.
