In this video we take a look inside Myanmar’s most popular chain restaurant - The YKKO chain of restaurants. The YKKO name stands for YanKin Kyah-Oh - which takes it’s name after the first branch of YKKO opened in 1988 in the Yankin area of Yangon. Now the chain has 38 branches across the whole of Myanmar. They specialise in Burmese comfort foods such as Kyah-Oh - which is a rice noodle soup. In thee video we are joined by guest guide May who will taste the restaurant’s signature dish.
