Beaten Bronze Stag Head Sculpture - Thak Ironworks

#blacksmith #blacksmithing #sculpture In this video, I create a stag head from silicon bronze. The process involves hammering flat sheets of bronze into shape, hence the term, beaten bronze. The antlers are actually made of steel, just to provide a bit of contrast. Many individual pieces are shaped which are then welded together to create the final shape.
