Wargames Atlantic- Late Roman Legionaries!

So these arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to dig in! Curious to see this is set one- Lorica Hamata. Perhaps we’ll see some armor variations down the line? I won’t object! First thing I notice is we’ve got the full sprue as opposed to the half sized kits like the lizards Afghans. It’s packed too, and you’ve got enough bits to equip a command unit, spearmen, swordsmen, and dart throwers as well. Quite a few head variations are included for all sorts of conversion purposes. The bodies themselves are nicely sculpted and pretty thoroughly armored. The only things I feel this kit is missing is a few more bare heads and some cloaks. The cloaks are one I wish was there, but I’ll dig through my bits for some. I feel these guys will work for a lot of purposes. Town guards, historical war games (especially when the Goth kit is available), skirmish games, as a Frostgrave warband, some Ranger companions, a low fantasy Kingdom of Men for mass battles... there
