#moongdalbhajiya are quick, crunchy and tasty snack made with yellow split moong lentils, spices and herbs. #recipe #youtube #easyrecipe #snacks Ingredients Quantity For batter Yellow moong dal soaked 1 cup Salt to taste Green chilli chopped 2 no’s Black pepper crushed ½ tsp Whole coriander crushed 1 tbsp Ginger chopped 1 tbsp Cumin seeds ½ tsp Asafoetida ½ tsp Fresh coriander 2 tbsp Curry leaves 4-5 no’s Gram flour 1-2 tbsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Oil for deep frying Water as required For accompaniment Onion slices 2 nos. Green chilli fried 5 nos. Black salt to taste Tamarind chutney as required Method:- 1. Take yellow moong dal, washed it thoroughly and soaked it for 1 hour, once soaked well drain the water and use a strainer to drain off the excess water from the moong dal. 2. Transfer the moong dal in a mixer grinding jar and grind till semi coarse paste. 3. Take a bowl add, grinded dal and add salt, green chillies chopped, black pepper, whole coriander crushed, ginger chopped, cumin seeds, asafoetida, fresh coriander chopped, curry leaves tear and gram flour mix well. 4. Further add turmeric powder and mix well. 5. Take a kadai set oil for deep frying on medium high heat, once the oil is hot enough, dip your fingers in water and take small portion of the bhajiya batter and drop in hot oil. 6. Fry the bhajiyas on medium heat until it turns crisp & golden brown in colour. 7. Remove in an absorbent paper. 8. Now take onions and slice them, transfer it in the plate. 9. Further slit the green chillies and fry them. 10. Add black salt to the sliced onions and fried green chillies. Mix it well. 11. Remove the moong dal bhajiyas in a serving plate serve with seasoned onions, fried green chillies and tamarind chutney.
