Shakshuka 🥘 #shorts

Ingredients - 1 red capsicum, diced - 1 brown onion, diced - 4 cloves garlic, finely diced - 2 tsp ground cumin - 1 tsp smoked paprika - 1 tsp chilli powder - 3 tbsp olive oil - 1 tin whole tomatoes and 1/2 tin water - 5 eggs - Salt and pepper to taste - Bread to serve - Small bunch parsley, finely cut to garnish Method 1. Start by sweating down your onions and garlic over medium heat in oil. 2. Add your diced capsicum, spices, salt and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. 3. Add the tin of tomatoes to the pan, then fill the tin halfway with water and add that as well. 4. Cook this for 7-8 minutes before making small wells and adding your eggs. 5. Cook this on medium-low heat until the egg whites are cooked. This should take roughly 5 minutes. 6. Garnish with parsley and serve with toasted bread. 7. Enjoy!
