Combining scissors and the Sonic Lame [sourdough bread scoring pattern]
The little squares pop out more when you cut them with scissors than with a lame. Then you can use a lame to finish the pattern with some straight or curvy lines. I’m using a Sonic Lame as I find it easiest to score clean cuts.
