Houdini Sci-fi Panel || Breakdown

This video will show the process of create a sci-fi panel with cloth simulation. The video is recommend for people already familiar with Houdini. It starts from scratch with a grid, on that grid a then a pattern create to use for simulation and creating a metal structure. The metal structure uses basic modelling features like extrudes. The cloth is self is then from a simulation done in Houdini. To simulate cloth in Houdini we use Vellum, these are powerful node to do things like cloth sims and much more. We use here a few basic nodes of vellum to quickly get a cloth sim. For the final touches on the Panel you can use kitbash assets to create detail and more it look way more interesting. Further is then shown how to make a low and highpoly. In the video I used Marmoset Toolbag 4 for the baking and texturing. This is mainly experimental since I like to try out different approaches.
